Malaysia Airlines Turnaround Plan 2011/2012

Malaysia Airlines (MAS) cut as many as 12% of their routes in order to cut operation costs. I think MAS can maintain their Kuala Lumpur - Rome route with twice weekly instead trice weekly. Singapore Airlines (SIA) operate Singapore - Rome twice weekly with 777-300 but with a better products offering compared with MAS.

Furthermore, MAS should think to replace the existing aircraft which have high in maintenance costs and high fuel consumption. Malaysia Airlines should buy at least 3 Boeing 747-8 which will be used to Amsterdam, Sydney, Tokyo and New Delhi routes together with 6 A380s that will be operated to London, Amsterdam and Sydney routes. As far as I can see Kuala Lumpur to Los Angeles via Taipei has shown good load factor and almost 100% load factor. Maybe MAS should think to increase to 4 times weekly instead of 3 times weekly.

The existing aircraft should refurbish in line with other airlines starting with MAS' Boeing 777-200 as a kick start for turnaround plan. Based on survey I conducted, most of the people fly with other airlines because of in-flight services or products.

My suggestion:
4x A380 use in London route
1x A380 and 1x 747-8 use in Amsterdam route
1x A380 and 1x 747-8 use in Sydney route
1x 747-8 use in Tokyo and Delhi

Proton Campro 1.6 CFE New Engine

Proton need to produce new replacement model frequently in order to attract the customers. The current models are really outdated. For example, Proton should already replace Proton Perdana V6. There is no new model to replace Perdana V6.

However they manage to produce all new engine called Campro 1.6 Charge Fuel Efficiency (CFE) which is a good steps for Proton. The performance specs for the CFE mill are 140 PS (or 138 hp) at 5,000 rpm and 205 Nm at 2,000 to 4,000 rpm The new engine able to compete against the CPS as well as two competitors, the Nissan Grand Livina 1.8 and Toyota Innova 2.0L. The new engine will be equipped in new Proton Exora Bold model. This new Proton Exora Bold able to kicks out Nissan Grand Livina 1.8L and Toyota Innova 2.0L.

MAS Didn't Take This Opportunity To Market Their Brands

October 29, 2011 - Malaysia Airlines System (MAS) could take this opportunity to market their brands, products and services when Qantas (the national carrier for Australia) grounded its entire fleets. There is a several way how to improve MAS presence in Australia. Which are:-

1) Market their brands and products since there is a huge number of passengers traveling to Europe and Asian countries from Australia.
2) MAS could act as a feeder for Qantas by offering a flight to Qantas' passengers to Europe and Asian countries from Australia and in return Qantas will pay MAS for using MAS fleets.

MAS has good services, one of the World's Best Cabin Crew and a 5-Stars airlines. MAS-Qantas has a good relationship and recently MAS join One World is sponsored by Qantas but MAS didnt take this opportunity to market them. MAS should be more sensitive next time.

Vacation: Bangkok!

July 11th-15th, 2011 - Recently, I went to Bangkok for a last mins vacation with my sister. Very last mins plan. We flew there with Royal Jordanian airlines on economy class. The fare relatively cheap for premium airlines. However the seat feel so uncomfortable and rough rough to me. My sister sponsored the ticket for me.

Relatively about Thailand, the people are rough or quite in-polite and I think maybe due to language barrier. The people wasn't pretty enough as compared with Malaysian and Indonesian. I'm really thank to god to live in Malaysia with friendly people, pretty and well develop country with good transportation connectivity and great architectures. For original branded goods and imitation, I would say Malaysia are relatively cheaper and better than Thailand in certain brands.

Malaysia Airlines new baby giant A330-300

Sepang, Selangor (14 April 2011)- Malaysia Airlines has launched its new A330-300 aircraft today.

Starting with a launch flight MH8888 from KLIA, guests were taken for a short journey to experience the new interiors and features of the aircraft. Upon arrival, the traditional water salute welcomed the latest aircraft to the Malaysia Airlines fleet, followed by a mixed drum ensemble. An eclectic dance performance symbolised the potpourri of cultures, as the passengers disembarked from the aircraft.

Malaysia Airlines’ Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer Tengku Dato’ Sri Azmil Zahruddin said, “We are delighted to launch our first A330-300 five months after the delivery of the new B737-800 in November. The latest fleet is aimed at creating a strong and sustained platform for us to serve our discerning customers and for Malaysia Airlines to remain profitable. These aircrafts will serve the growing markets of South Asia, China, North Asia and Australia.”

The new Airbus A330-300 is the first of 15 aircrafts to be delivered to Malaysia Airlines over the next four years, as part of the airline's fleet renewal programme. It is the second fleet after the B737-800 to sport the dynamic livery with red and blue lines representing the Malaysia Airlines’ corporate colours.

The enhanced A330-300 has a total capacity of 283 seats, 36 seats in Business class and 247 seats in Economy class (Singapore Airlines (SIA) has 285 seats, 30 seats in Business class and 255 seats in Economy class which MAS better than SIA on their A330-300). All seats are equipped with AC power supply and USB port for laptops and electronic equipment. The new interiors are installed with mood lighting in all cabins and spacious overhead baggage compartments.

To provide enhanced experience and comfort, the sophisticated features and interiors of the new A330-300 Business Class cabin offer comfortable angled lie flat seats, a fold-out privacy divider and six-way adjustable headrest, among others, presenting the traveller with both a mini office, as well as a place to unwind.

The Economy Class cabin, features lightweight and slim design seats with four-way headrest. Each seat is equipped with individual audio-video on demand smart screens. The latest movies, TV programs, moving map and games are available for both cabins.

The first commercial flight on the new A330-300 will be from Kuala Lumpur to Brisbane departing on 20 April 2011, followed by flights to Shanghai, Osaka, Beijing, Perth and Delhi on later dates.

Planned 333 service to Dhaka, once a week from late-July 2011, is now CANCELED

Overall I would satisfy on MAS new A330-300 but I hope that their Business Class seat can be reclined more. MAS A330 are better than Singapore Air A330-300 from my point of view. Except changing aircraft from Boeing 777-200 to A330-300 it is not a good idea because A330-300's Economy class are smaller at 32" as compared with 34" on 777-200.

Bangor University is a university based in the city of Bangor in the county of Gwynedd in North Wales, which one of the smallest cities in Britain.

You maybe curious to know why I'm posting about this university. Actually I wish I could further study there to finish my ACCA. It was my dream to further study in UK since I was a child. Why this place you may ask? Outskirts of the city? Simply peaceful city, beside the beach and yet cost of living quite cheap as compared with other cities.

I do hope everyone could pray for me so that I could achieve my dream. I hope I could fly this coming January 2012.

Malaysia Airlines new 737-800

Malaysia Airlines (MAS) new 737-800 is a great aircraft as it comes with Boeing's Sky Interior and new in-flight entertainment. However, their economy seat pitch is relatively small which is 30" as compared with Garuda Indonesia (31"-32"), Singapore Airlines (32") and Thai Airways (31"). Malaysia Airlines should adjust the seat pitch on their coming next 737-800 to a bigger seat. MAS is a 5-star airlines, thus they should provide comfortable seats to their customers. Besides that, with bigger seats, MAS could capture the market share loss to Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways and Garuda Indonesia which offer bigger seats. However, MAS 777-200ER and 747-400 economy seat still one of the largest ever at 34" beats it's rival but same as Qatar Airways and Saudi Arabia Airlines.

February 21st, 2011 - ACCA's official results date. As I checked my results earlier today, I managed to pass two out of three papers I'm taking last semester. This is not something to be proud of but I'm grateful to pass 2 papers because it is not easy to pass the papers. Disappointment as usual because I failed F9 but this is punishment to myself as I skipped class for almost 6 weeks for my Los Angeles trip last semester! What ever it is... Life have still to goes on.. Nothing can stop my dreams.

I wrote this specially for Malaysia Airlines management team, not to condem but there is a room for them to capture the market. I see opportunity and they see nothing. I can see there is opportunity to deploy new routes such as.....

Kuala Lumpur - Tehran - Moscow and vise versa.
As you know, a lot of Arabic or to be specific Iranian migrating to Malaysia or work or business or further study here. Iranian do fly to Moscow especially for technology discussion and technology transfer for military. Iran Air do offer to Kuala lumpur and Moscow service. However, Iran only cater low-medium traveller because lack of quality products. Malaysia Airlines can fulfil this gap by deploying a new route from Kuala Lumpur to Moscow and transit in Tehran.

Kuala Lumpur - Kuwait - New York or Kuala Lumpur - Kuwait - Zurich or vice versa
Look to our competitor, Garuda Airlines. Before they capture the market to Amsterdam route, they introduce Jakarta - Dubai - Amsterdam route until when the direct flight is needed with high demand. Transit will help them to fill the empty seats. Kuwait is one of the rich with oil country and consider wealthy country. Kuwait do have their own national carier, Kuwait Airways but the product offering cannot beat Malaysia Airlines and I can see there is opportunity for Malaysia Airlines to capture the market in this route. Singapore Airlines do offer Singapore - Zurich direct flights with largest aircraft ever build, A380. Malaysia Airlines loss the market share to Singapore Airlines and need something refresh and new to deploy to respective routes.

Las Vegas, Anaheim, San Diego, Hollywood, Valencia and Arcadia

October 6th - 21st, 2010 - This is my first time I went to States and this is my longest vacation ever which is almost 3 weeks! TOTALLY TOTALLY GREAT EXPERIENCED!! I've travelled to Los Angeles (City of Angels) and Vegas (City of Lights).

I never taught that I could go to States before I start working. This is something totally unexpected for me. I spend about 3days 2 nights in Vegas, the city of entertainment and gambling city! It took about 3 hours drive from Los Angeles. Vegas I would said that it is very very nice city with full of lights. I never been to any city like Vegas before. This city is totally clean and nice. The people moves around 24-7. The people are busing with gambling during the day and night. For Shopping, Las Vegas is a great place to shopping because the tax rate here is cheaper as compared to Los Angeles. Furthermore, there is a lot of factory outlet here! Of course you need a cash even though it is cheap! For example, u can get Coach handbag here at around $USD150 but in Malaysia would cost you more then $USD600! Electronic devices here is cheaper as compared with Malaysia maybe due to tax differences. I watched Zumanity, Cirque de Soleil in Vegas. Good show and I recommended to all of you but you must consider of your age if you are below 18 because the show is totally 18SX.

Disneyland is great theme park! Very nice theme park among I visited so far. I went to Universal Studio and 6 Flags Magic Mountain as well. Back to the story again, you have to ask yourself which category do u want to go. If its thrill theme park then 6 Flags Magic Mountain is the top priority, in terms of variety of rides and nice theme park then Disneyland is your choice and if you like 3D stuffs and Hollywood movie experience then Universal Studio is your choice.

Traveling to States is something travelling to another world! MAS flights really comforts me as their economy class seat among the biggest ever with 34". MAS operates 3 times weekly. I wish MAS refurbish their Economy seats with better In-Flight Entertainment system.

SIFE World Cup 2010 - Los Angeles

October 10-12, 2010 - SIFE World Cup 2010 this year was held at Los Angeles, USA. The competition held for 3 days. On the first day is registration and Cultural Fair, on the second day is opening round of the competition and the last day is semi-final, final rounds and SIFE World Cup post-party. The competition was entered by 40 teams representing their countries around the globe. MARA University of Technology or better known as Universiti Teknologi MARA representing Malaysia as the university had won the SIFE National Competition 2010 and I'm proudly apart of the team. This is my first time I went to SIFE World Cup and this is my first time I went to United States of America. Let's talk about the SIFE's event first.

On the first day, the Cultural Fair. During the Cultural Fair, I've learned their cultures on each of the 39 countries (excluding Malaysia). Egypt, Puerto Rico and China one of most outstanding countries in promoting their cultures. During the day, I met and made a few contacts. Each of the participants required to wear their clothes that representing their cultures and countries, and I'm wearing Baju Melayu as a Malay traditional clothe. This event is a good event whereby for me, I never been to almost of the participant countries. This would help for me to know their country, learned and feel their culture better.

Second day of the event or the first day of the competition, the opening round, MARA University of Technology (UiTM) was entered on the 1st league and our team had won 3rd place. Only first and second place managed to go to the semi-finals, which is teams from Germany and United Kingdom. I'm totally felt so sad because we didn't managed to go to the further round.

Last day of the event, semi-finals, final round and SIFE Post-Party. SIFE team from Egypt is the champion and followed by SIFE teams from China, USA and India. The SIFE post-party was held at The Groove of Anaheim. This is my first time party with other races under one roof. This is totally great experienced.

Even though we didn't win the competition, but when you look into other points of view, I've learned a lot of things. SIFE it is not just a competition whereby it builds up my soft skills and communication skills. This is a great opportunity for me when I talked with leaders from different backgrounds and organizations. I mixed with other races to build up my contact for my future. I met different organizations that offered me a job. Thus greater employability when you joining SIFE. Joining SIFE it is more than just a fun. It is something when you feel the pleasure and proud to be a part of SIFERs. It helps on your CV! Joining SIFE it is more then just what you have thought!

August 23rd, 2010 - ACCA results just came out. I took 3 papers, F4: Corporate and Business Law, F6: Taxation and F7: Financial Reporting; and I failed all papers. This is not my first time I fail in ACCA exams but this time around I'm totally disappointed because I failed ALL PAPERS! I studied hard but no luck for me this time around. I believe in myself to be a successful person, we have to face the failure. Failure makes us stronger and better person. This is we called ACCA.

SIFE National Competition!

July 12th-13th, 2010 - Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) had conducted National Competition in Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC). SIFE team from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) had won the National Competition and will representing Malaysia in SIFE World Cup Competition that will be held in Los Angeles this October 10th-12th, 2010. Universti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) had won 1st Runner Up. This year, the competition divided into 4 groups with semi-final and final round. SIFE UiTM managed to convey or delivery their projects clearly makes the team won National competition. SIFE UiTM had conducted 7 community outreach projects and only 2 projects presented during the competition. SIFE UiTM will be departing from Malaysia on October 6th and return back to Malaysia with various date starting from October 14th to 24th, 2010.

Original Blackberry VS AP Blackberry

As you know, AP Blackberry price relatively cheaper as compared to the original Blackberry. What makes different between AP and Original Blackber y (authorize reseller) it just the AP set might be recondition set or second hand from overseas or a new one from overseas but sell here (Malaysia). Some people willing to pay more as long as original set. Original Blackberry set sales low because when you service or repair the phone it takes at least 1-2months which I think it is so ridiculous even though some of mobile operator did provide temporary hp but sometimes you have to wait for the temporary hp available to lend. The AP set at least takes 3 working days to repair. Furthermore, the service centre located in Singapore which I think very stupid company like Blackberry who set up the service centre in Singapore and not in Malaysia for Malaysian market service centre. So when you purchase Blackberry in Malaysia, think twice before you buy. Especially with the original set.

MAS A380s Delay Again and Again...

Airbus SAS, the world's largest maker of commercial aircraft, has deferred delivery of Malaysia Airlines' MAS) first of six superjumbo A380s for a third time, without giving a reason. MAS A380 one of the most anticipated aircraft.

The national carrier will now take delivery of its first plane in the first half of 2012 instead of August 2011.It is unclear whether the airline will be compensated for the delay in the delivery of the aircraft. The list price of one A380 is US$315 million (RM1 billion).The new delay in delivery will be a setback for MAS' plans to increase capacity on high-density routes such as London and Sydney. MAS' parent company Penerbangan Malaysia Bhd had initially ordered the six A380s in 2003 for delivery from January 2007 to December 2008.

The delivery of the aircraft was deferred to January 2011 and then to August 2011, due to Airbus encountering problems ramping up the pace of its A380 production, in part because of the large amount of customisation of each plane.It then had to scale back deliveries of its A380s for 2009 and 2010 after customers deferred orders due to the economic crisis.It was reported that MAS had received in excess of RM330 million so far in compensation for the delays.

I think MAS should purchase Boeing 747-8 later on to replace its Boeing 747-400. The delay really take a long time for MAS and it will effect MAS for modernisng its fleets. From my perspective view, MAS should purchase B787 to make direct flight to New York, Stockholm, Zurich, Moscow, Buenos Aires, Milan, Manchester, Berlin, Dublin etc in order to capture the market shares and increase MAS' profit in future. 787 is single aisle aircraft reducing the maintenance cost and further more this aircraft suitable for long haul with low load factor.

Dearest Malaysia Airlines

Dear Malaysia Airlines,

I do hope that Malaysia Airlines could replace its older 777-200ER with 777-300ER with latest in-flight entertainment and include with first class on board in order to compete other airlines such as Emirates, Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific. More over with a new fleet, it will significantly reduce on cost-per-passenger and enhance customers' flight experience.

Beside that, Malaysia Airlines should purchase Boeing 787 or Airbus 350 that will be used for new routes in future such as Milan, Manchester, Berlin, Dublin, Moscow etc. The aircraft can accommodate lesser passenger compared to Boeing 777-300 or Airbus 340 but the demand on that sector relatively low so Boeing 787 or Airbus 350 is a great choice for that routes.

Malaysia Airlines had bought 6 Airbus 380 and waiting for the delivery late 2011. The aircraft it is not just big but it will give passenger a great pleasure when they ride on the World's Biggest Aircraft. Thus Airbus 380 will significantly increase Malaysia Airlines' name through out the world. Sometimes, the passenger will choose the aircraft based on size of the fleet. From my point of view, Malaysia Airlines should not purchase just 6 A380 but 11 A380. The aircraft can be used for Amsterdam (daily route), London (twice daily route), Taipei-Los Angels (3 times weekly), Sydney (twice daily route), Paris (reduce from 14 times weekly to 10 times weekly with combination of A380 and B777) and Nagoya-San Francisco (3 times weekly). Besides that, Malaysia Airlines should have SPA and shower on their A380 that will give the best 5-star flight experience like-no-other.

I wondering how smart students could score well in exams even though they havnt really study for it. Some of them gifted with smart brain. I wish I'm one of them. No ones in this world are perfect. Being perfect is impossible but you can work on it to be perfect. Sometimes they can score well in exams but it doesn't mean you can work well or become successful person in your career or work. You know yourself well, so you work on it with the PROs and leave the CONs.

March 25th, 2010 - My UiTM friends had thrown a Birthday Party for me @ Burpgurp King Sect 13. I had really fun that night but it wasn't a really surprise for me since I can smell the surprise before the party.. :) What makes me surprise on that night is when Asma' (one of my childhood friends since I was born.. i guees so) she came that night. They put the melted ice cream on my head, cheese cake on my face and flour as well. They throw flour to my car and me like hell... I have to wash my car 3 times to clean in out the flour on my car and 2 times on my body. I think this is one of the best Birthday Party I had so far.

March 20th, 2010 - This year The Association of Professional Accounting Students organized a dinner held in Putrajaya International Convention Centre. The place really nice. I like the place very well but a bit far from UiTM and my place as well. The foods I rated average for me. No desert except fruits and no tea. They only served coffee. Performance in terms on quality improved but in terms of quantity reduced. I really hate their time management. They should monitor and managed their time carefully. I'm one of the Chronicles helpers. I've been waiting almost 1hour at the back stage waiting for the launch! At least they should inform me about the delays so I can hangs around with my friends, eat or take pictures. Overall I rated APAcS Dinner 2009 is the best I had ever attend.

January 16th, 2010 - I went to SIFE Conference in Genting Highlands gathered almost from 20 different universities and colleges. The conference was quite good but it should be improved by telling the audiences the benefits of joining SIFE. The organizer should be punctual. We ate 6 times daily and my stomach almost burst up. hahhaha.... We karaoke at night and met some new friends there. We really close with SIFE MMU. They rocks too..!

27th -31st December 2009 - I just returned back from Jakarta and Bandung for my holidays. It was fun and I had a great time. I meet my existing and newly friends there. Indonesians are really friendly like Malaysian too but not like Singaporeans... However, there is a few things that Indonesian government should improve their country such as public transport (equip with a new buses and LRT/MRT) & no illegal potter service. Some of "worm" bought the train ticket 1st and sell it at higher price to us. So when the customer go to the counter, the tickets are sold out and these worms come to us and sell it at higher price. I felt they cheated me very well. The government should supervise or using ticketing machine to prevent this. I hate the potter service because they are forcing us to use their service and sometimes they do first then request for the tips! The food wasn't really cheap but an average is cheaper then Malaysia cafe. Their train should be upgraded or at least the cleanliness should be improved. When it comes to shopping in Jakarta, u have to do survey in your country 1st because i found that some of the brands it is more expensive compared to my country, Malaysia. However, in Bandung, u have to find a good and quality outlet and every things is cheap. I like Amanda brownies in Bandung. The brownies so tasty and wide range of flavors. Lastly don;t forget to eat baked cheese banana! I like Indonesia very much and I will go there again.

Proton 1.3 Engine

December 21st, 2009 - Proton should not invest in their money for producing 1.3 engine. Saga BLM should not use 1.3 engine as the engine capacity can't support enough with the body weight. It takes time to accelerate. What I think just produce 1.6 and 1.8 engine rather then 1.3 and 1.6. If 1.3 needed, then use other manufactures engine in order to use the money for better research in 1.6 and 1.8 engines with more powerful and less fuel consumption.

Malaysia Government on Spending Military Equipments

December 21st, 2009 - Malaysian armies should equip with more advance and tecnological equipments. It is not wastes of money by purchasing military equipments since it is an investment towards safer nation. Look to Singapore, their govenrment spending a lots of money for their military equipment. Recently, Sinagporean government just purchased 100units of F-22 (if im not mistaken) and a few submarines. To counter this back, Sukhoi should purchase more rather then only 18units. What I think is, the government should double the Sukhoi units and purchase additional Dassault Rafale or European Typhoon Fighter since MiG-29N will be disposed soon plus upgrade our Scorpene submarines with latest technology. That does not enough, Helicopters such as Apache and other helicopters should be purchased to replace our AGING Nuri. Beside that, Airborne warning and latest missiles.

16 Oct - Wow.... Quite long I haven't updated my blog. I just wen back to Langkawi for my committees trip as I one of the committees of the Association of Professional Accounting Students (APAcS) (UiTM). It was great but unfortunately I have to return back to my house earlier which is on Saturday since I have graduation on Sunday and my open house on Saturday. I only went to Cable car and Telaga tujuh during the day and night I went for BBQ beside the beach. The food was awesome! Crab, Barracuda fish, Kembong Fish, chicken etc... The cable car was really tall and I liked the bridge.

The next day in the morning, I went to some of the shops and bought some chocolates. I was shocked because spend almost RM200 only for the chocolates even though it was cheap. Somewhere in the middle of the morning, I checked out and return back to Shah Alam via Malaysia Airlines with Ucop and Adi since they also graduating tomorrow (18th Oct). Once arrived KLIA, Remon Aznor picked me up there since he had flight from Phuket. Thanxx Remon!! Today my friends spending their time for snorkeling, unfortunately I can't join because I went back home. I'm a bit sad but what I can do. I told my president to do this trip after finals but I'm just an ordinary guy with no power or in other word im just bureau in my association. My voice does not power enough. I'm a bit mad at him plus he didnt refund bus ticket for me. At least it can cover up my flight ticket. Once I returned back home, my family had an open house. It was tiring day for me. At night I went to my lecturer's Open house, Datin Afizah and after that went to my friend's open house, Matt and lepak until 4.00am.. hahahah....

On 18th Oct- I graduated from my Certified Accounting Technicians (CAT) United Kingdom or so called diploma. Now I'm officially graduated...:) Thannx to all my friends and families for coming during that day. I just bought a Police sunglass during the night as a gift for my self since I graduated. hahahah... yelah.. mengharapkan family kasi hadiah beside flowers memang xde lah kan.. hahahha....

ACCA Compose Your Answer Exam Technique

8th October - I went to ACCA Compose Your Answer Exam Techniques held Menara Hal Seng by my car guided with GPS. I don't even know that Menara Hap Seng is located at Jalan P Ramlee which is opposite of Jalan Bukit Binatang plus I usually park my car at Menara Hap Seng if go to Bukit Bintang. hahaha.. I parked my car thee because it is cheaper compared to paying to unknown people that take care of my car when I parked my car at the at street during the night.

Back to the story, the exam techniques was too short and the price is rm30. I don't think so it is worthwhile because it is only for 2 hours and 30mins. I think the reasonable price is rm20. The pastry was nice! Overall the exam techniques was good conducted my Rys Johnson from Singapore, Head Asean & Australian Study.

This yr Eid Fit-ri celebrated on the October, 21st 2009 and it was really simple and bored maybe because of my grandma passed away on the both sides. we traveled to Taiping on the first day of Hari Raya at 4am and arrived at 6.30am. Furthermore I celebrated my Hari Raya at my mom's hometown in Taiping. Only 3 family members of my mom's side went back to Taiping instead 4 families. I had a great time in Taiping on the first and second day of Hari Raya but that last until evening of second Hari Raya then at night we don't have any ideas to do instead playing my Farmville that I usualy do. My siblings decided to go to the city to catch some DVDS and CDs. After that we went to Old Town White Coffee at Taiping Central instead watching a movie on the second day of Hari Raya. The place quite good for the small city like Taiping. This is my first time went to Taiping Central eventhough it opened for years ago. We went to Sungai Petani to visit my uncle there as he celebrate with his mother in law on the 2nd day of Hari Raya. We returned back home on the 3rd day of hari raya at 4pm and arrived safely at 7pm.

UiTM and H1N1

Uitm have been closed for a week due to outbreak H1N1 in UiTM. For me, it wasn't d good solution for a sudden holiday. At least UiTM should be informed the students at least 3days before. I dont think after this there is no H1N1 outbreak in UiTM. Precautions measure is by asking the students to wear the mask and not to close the UiTM for quarantine. There will be a lot of classes in order to catch up our syllabus that we left... H1N1 no longer can be prevent because its everywhere.

17 July, Petaling Jaya - First of all I would like to thank UEM for this outstanding program. It is a great honored to become the participants for the almost 2 years! This program has been beyond our expectations. There is a lot of experience that we gained and shared that cannot be learned from the text books or other programs that we’ve gone through. I believe the program has shown me, my other friends from Accountancy, Civil and Mechanical Engineering the reality of the world out there. Beside that, this program has also motivated us to become successful persons in the future at least somebody like the YBhg VC and the CEO, YBhg Datuk Mohd Izzaddin Idris. The arrangement of the training programs have been really good ranging from problem solving, managing time, mastermind, interview skills and others. All the knowledge conveyers who taught us and all the things we learned from them will stay in our minds and insyaAllah, become our daily practices. I can see that this Nurture program is not just seen as helping the students but also the industry’s contribution (in this case, UEM Group Bhd) towards building the human capital of the country. You shall see the results in 5 to 10 years time, YBhg and YBhg Dato’. All your kind deeds and intentions shall and will pay off. We are now mentally ready to work hard towards achieving our dreams and goals.
We do hope that this program will continue for our juniors as well. Without UEM, we wouldn’t have this golden opportunity to be nurtured in the most corporate manner. I believe not many companies offer this sort of program. I cannot find a better word to express my appreciation. Perhaps, there are no accounting jargons that could help express our true feeling now when the time for us to be here ends today.

updated my blog @ McD Sect 3 using my hp... this is the story... i dont know why. i always been marked with wealthy family. i wasnt rich at all but most of my friends said so but i denied it and no one believed. I admit, I wear expensive brands such as CK, Armani Exchange, Billabong, Tommy Hilfiger but it doesnt mean I'm rich. As I told you before, everyone can be rich look but u have to wear with good brand (not necessary expensive but have to smart). But how do I manage to buy all those brands? You have to do some budgets and dont waste your money on unnecessary expenses. If you have extra money put in your piggy bank. This piggy bank money that you saved before will be use for purchase the clothes. Now you can have rich-looked! Doesnt mean you have to born in a rich family in order to buy expensive clothes. You just need to manage ur expenses carefully. most of rich kids doesnt know how to spend money wisely. Thus it gives credit to average people like me as they know how to manage their expenses properly. :)

People dreams a lot. Sometimes their dream is not achievable and sometimes it can be achieved. For me, I have my very own dream that most of the people wouldn't believe it. My dreams is to open an airline operator by year 2025, that means I will be 35 yrs old. It sound wasn't realistic by some of other poeple but for me is other way round. You should believe in yourself, plan carefully and your dream turns into reality.. I already plan it even though it is still a long journey. I plan to named my airline is Asian Airlines that will be based in Penang (new market oppurtunities) and few strategies that some people wouldn't think for it (i hope so... hahaha...) I should not revealed it now as u know blog is for public. Perhaps, maybe Dato' Idris Jala (CEO of Malaysia Airlines) will found my blog and implement my strategy to Malaysia Airlines (hahaha... ;p). Now i have to work on it and pray to god to turn my dream become reality.

I started to overnight at McD since before my trial exam and i hope it would be last until my final (i hope so..). It just because I can't study @ home. I will sleep, online and watching tv instead of study that I should do so. Now McD will become my second home and place for me study. Malaysia Airlines & Its 5-Star Airlines Status

Malaysia Airlines is well known airline operator in the world that operate from Malaysia with 747, 777, A330 and 737 fleets. Malaysia airlines awarded with 5-Star airlines status for years including this year and major awards such "Best Cabin Crew". But again how Malaysia Airlines maintain its 5-Star airlines status for the next few years with its aging fleet, lack of quality entertainment (A330 for business class only a portable media player with only a few movies can be selected & also to its all economy class). The only way to maintain the status by upgrading its fleet with state-to-the-art entertainment, comfortable seat (maybe wider), gorgeous interior and new aircraft (maintain its safety and performance). By replacing its aging aircraft, it can increase the safety and efficiency on fuel consumption plus increase the capacity of the seats and reduce the maintenance costs as well. Look for the closer competitors such as Emirates (include SPA shower on their A380, gorgeous interior and high quality of entertainment-Ice), Qatar (new fleet and high quality entertainment-Oryx) and Singapore Airlines (new aircraft, Suite on their A380 and wider seat). I understand the economic downturn during this time but at least upgrade their interior and in-flight entertainment instead replacing the aircraft). Maybe MAS should collaborate with universities to do research on how to improve MAS to another level of airline. We as a student understand more as our mind is still young and fresh.

This are the items that I wish to have for the next 5 years. All the items is to motivate me and yet it is a realistic to my profession in the future.

1) A condominium at high end city area with at least 3 bedrooms.
2) A Mini Cooper or Honda Hybrid Civic
3) State-to-the-art PDA, Home Entertainment System etc
4) An investment through saving that worth more than RM15k
5) A stall (e.g 1901 Hot Dog) but with my own brand that sell... (secret lol)
6) Lastly live happily with my girlfriend and so-called future wife.

Water Issue In Selangor

Its been a while i havnt update my blog yet due to lack of ideas and i have trial exam that i should focus more on that. As far as i concern as Selangorian, i can't accept the state government do their billboards that saying "Kambalikan Hak Air Kepada Rakyat Selangor", which means, please return the water to the Selangorians as I saw it a few days ago at Shah Alam near Wetworld round about. First of all I would like to ask them back, what and where sources do u get for your water? Don't you think we already provide with water. Secondly, how the state government control the quality of water and handle efficiency in managing the water to the users? The reasons water been privatized are because to enhance the quality of water and managing the water efficiently. I admit that currently the water quality wasn't clean enogh but cleaner compared to last time which is handle by government. Furthermore, the state government have to bare the cost in managing the water which is really costly. Did the state government manage to provide same quality of water? So think it back... It just a political issue to make more complicated!!

2009 Formula One at Sepang International Circuit, i attended. This time i'm going with Azam with his BMW 5-series car. Our sitting is at Turquoise, RM1100. The event was good but the crowd are lesser compared to the last year maybe due to economic downturn makes people save money more! The food was really expensive and have to purchase the food bundle with drink and snacks. Cannot purchase ala-carte except for the drink. Overall quite good.

16th March - What a tiring day... I just finish the ESQ motivational talk then early in the morning I have to go to Menara Maybank to choose the corporate video. Unfortunately the video havn't prepared yet. So I have to go back to Menara Maybank again and they "destroy" my sleep time on that day..

APAcS Meeting held at level 14 around 6.00pm. I attended the meeting but I have to go back early since my helpers could not stay up until night. So I have to send them.

After sending my helpers (sponsorship), i went to the Mist Club @ Bangsar attending the fashion show and Dream girls party with Nina. I attended the party only for a few hours. Then straightway go to pakli to have my so-called dinner. Then i sending back Nina to her house and straightway to pick up my Cot at Mutiara Damansara. I returned back home around 1.15am.

14th & 15th March - I went to Emotional Spirituality Quotation (ESQ) Motivational talk at Maju Junction totally sponsored by UEM. The cost to enter the talk is RM600 per head.

The talk totally extract from Quran (Holy Book of Islam) and given speech by Indonesian. The company is based in Indonesia but they had gave a talk around the globe and highly recognized by peoples. The talk not only open to Muslim but also to non-Muslims as well.

The talk give us how to balance up our life, motivate, leadership skill and... The talk really touch the participant's heart including ME!! Majority of us were crying during on that day.

Not just that, I also meet up my friends from other scholarships. I totally recommended the people out there to go this talk if you have this opportunities. -end-

Mercu UEM and Menara Maybank

11th March - First I went to Samsung service centre to service my hp. Then, I went to UEM Academy first to sent Association of Professional Accounting Students (APAcS) invitation card for our annual grand dinner. After that, I went to Mercu UEM which is headquarters of UEM at KL Sentral to pick up the sponsor cheque amounted RM8k. Mercu UEM is a nice building with state-to-art technology. Maybank is the last one, i had discussion with Maybank's HR department since they agreed to sponsor our annual dinner amounted RM15k. The discussion quite long about 1hour plus. Then I drove back to Samsung service centre to pick up my hp and straight away go to Pakli for our lunch which is around 6.30pm. (Is that we call lunch??) That it was a tiring day!!

Damai & Pavillion....

6th & 8th March - I went to Jalan Damai @ Kuala Lumpur for my night life with my schoolmates. On the 8th, I went to Pavilion to catch a movie with my internet friend. Unfortunately all the tickets are sold. :( so we have to change our plan. So we decided to chill out @ pakli, Shah Alam instead watching a movie. Then, i sent back my friend to Bukit Antarabangsa around 2.00am. After that i have to rush back to shah alam since i drove really midnight. I managed to arrived back to Shah Alam around 3.00am.

Blood Donor??

3rd, March - I'm donated my blood at UiTM. Hahaha... Is it true?? yeah of course!! hahaha... Don't laugh i wasn't lie to u. I was accompany by Faris, Zue & Ainie which is my UiTM's mates. Faris donated his blood too during that day and I wasn't alone that time. I don't feel scared since i can talk with faris and making jokes to overcome my nervous. Seriously it wasnt paintful. I'm also discovered that my blood is 'o' type. Now im proud to be Malaysian.

Have you heard before about Urbancare Enterprise company ? Of course you wouldn't hear it. Today on the 4th of March, I just registered one company. Don't ask me why I named Urbancare Enterprise as the company name. This company is manage by my dad in different types of business. Thus this is not my company. But at least i learned how to register a company.Furthermore it is a stepping stone towards become a successful business man. hahahah...

One Utama

19th, February - I went to One Utama with Shaza, Ucop, Shinar & Prof. I pick Ucop first at Jati College then Shinar at her house followed by Shaza and Prof. During i pick up Shaza with my kancil's car, my radiator tube suddenly burst up AGAIN and temperature arise quickly. So i have to stop my car and park nearby to Shaza's house. When the temperature cool down, i put some water on my car's radiator then returning back my house to exchange my car with MYVI. Once i exchange, i'll pick up Prof and straight away go to The Loft Condomiium, KL Sentral to pick up my shoe then straight away we go to One Utama. We had Pink Panther 2 movie over there.. The movie i rated 6.5/10. I'll prefered the first one rather then secont one.

Zahra - Puncak Perdana - Pakli

19th February, 8.45pm - I, Khalis and Ejal went to Zahra for chilling @ Zahra, Sect 13 and meet Ikram, Zikri, Acap, Adli and others over there. At 10pm, I, Khalis and Ejal went to UiTM campus @ Puncak Perdana to meet Ejal's friend until 11pm then straight away going back to Pakli. We arrived there around 11.30pm and chilling until 2.00am. Guess what? I drive manual... hahah.. Its been a while I havnt drive manual and I drive wasnt bad. hahaha...

CAT results!!! CAT results made me really dissapointed. :( Im doing fast-track CAT and no longer called fast track as i fail one paper CAT which is T8 audit. Audit is the lowest pasing rate in the world and so called the toughest paper in CAT. T8 is option paper and only being offered 1st time in UiTM during my batch and only two univesity in Malaysia offered in Malaysia which is UiTM & Sunway University College. So im repeating that paper this semester and can't graduate this semester and can't proceed to ACCA. Beside that, i also couldn't get dean's list. :( I'm taking 4 papers and I only failed 1 paper. So Im thinking of to attend ACCA's classes (F5 & F6), PAM (Islamic study), Bel (Critical Thinking) & CAT's classes (T8 or maybe T10 as well).

Dont let the failure fail through out my entire life. I should be strong and proceed with my life. Let the failure taught me how to be strong and ready to face for the future. Life still have to go on and live happily.

Puan Azlina's Daughter and Son Birthday Party!!

8th February - I attending and helping Puan Azlina's kids birthday party @ The Loft Service Apartment, KL Sentral. Puan Azlina is UITM lecturer and she damn rich, lovely and pretty. She made her kids birthday party beside the pool. She also use Party Planner to plan and organise the birthday party. During that day, there is bouncy castle field, sketch-face, cupcake design, singing competition, scoop-a-duck, drawing and snap-and-print. I think this is the best and coolest birthday party I had ever attend. Many VVIP and VIP coming during that day. Puan Azlina's kids were 3 years old son and 7 years old daughter. We think that Puan Azlina spending Rm20k-Rm30k only for the birthday.

Bandar Hilir. Melaka

25th Jan - I went to Melaka on 25th of Jan for family holiday. Our actual plan is going to Pulau Pangkor but the hotel is fully booked over there. So we decided to change our plan and going to Bandar Hilir instead of Pulau Pangkor. However we only can stay a night in Melaka since the hotel is fully booked by the tourists, especially by the foreigners and only we can stay at Everly Hills Hotel suite which is located beside the beach. I can't blame the foreigners because they booked earlier then us. I am the only one in my family who doesn't shopping over there. :(

UEM & APAcS

This January i'm so f**king tired with APAcS and UEM Nurture Program. I have to find sponsor for the conference and dinner for APAcS, while UEM Nurture, I have to prepare the budget for Kota Kinabalu program. Even though it sound easy but when you in my position, you will know how tired am i. For the sponsor, everybody keep pointing at me why and why i didn't get sponsor. I'll try my very best to get the sponsor. I already manage to get platinium sponsor from maybank which is rm15000 from helping by aunty nora, head of human capital maybank group for our csr conference and csr annual dinner. Thanks aunty! But the thing is once I got the sponsor they keep asking more and more. As I told you, this is my job and I know how to handle it. Don't pressure me. Yet they simply using the money wasn't wisely! Such as giving a free table for the prizes which cost us rm1k each table.

I have a meeting with general manager of UEM Academy yesterday and it sound positive for my scholarship application. I hope it will come true. That's all for now. I recommend you out there, if you want to have a meeting please do a meeting and straight away do the job because it will prolong the meeting and ....... -END-

Anis's Birthday Celebration

12th Jan - Me and my friends had made a surprise b'day celebration for her 20th Birthday. Anis is my classmate during 1st and 2nd semester at UiTM. We made the celebration 1day earlier since her bf wanted to spent time with her tomorrow. We celebrated her birthday at Pakli Section 7, Shah Alam. The Star Education Fair

10th Jan - The Star Education Fair was held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Universiti Teknologi MARA or better known as UiTM had send me there to promote UiTM's ACCA and CAT qualification on that day under ACCA's booth. There are TARC College, Sunway College, Orange International Institute, KDU College, Kasturi International College and UiTM at ACCA's booth. We get good feedback from visitors. UiTM currently is a gold status which is lowered compared to Sunway and TARC College, they are platinum status. Even though we are Gold, our marks is increasing semester by semester as the policy getting strict and student getting better. As told by our Head Program of CAT, UiTM managed to get Platinum status by this semester. Our results is tremendously increased that made ACCA's Malaysia surprised. Where else other colleges results showed -ve improvements.

On that day also, I'll take this opportunity to search a good university in UK for my future study. One of the university i interested is Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) if I have opportunity to study abroad. Beside that, i'll meet other university representative for their ACCA's college for future collaboration such as leadership camp and team building.

31st December - Me, Nina, Redza & Kamarul just celebrated New Year Eve countdown 2009 @ The Curve, then we meet Nisa & Aisyah, my classmates during secondary school. We had play snow spray and ribbon spray over there and it was fun! After we went to The Curve, we had our dinner + breakfast at Pakli, Section 7, Shah Alam around 2.00am and straight away go back home after our meals.

31st December - I went to Cheras today around 12pm for finding a good university for my future study in uk with my senior in UiTM, Redza or so called my bro which is my friends usually told me. So I meet up an Uk's university agent in Malaysia at Cheras for discuss the choices of university available. So I decided to persue study at UK
for my ACCA professional level plus Master in Account.

After that, I went to One Utama with Redza to accompany him for shopping. He had just bought a Nike shoe over there. I buy nothing. hahahah...

Around 2.30 we returned back and straight away having our lunch at TTDi Jaya. We had Char Kuey Teow over there. After we finish our lunch then we straight away returned back home. -End-

Dolly's Bday Party!!

28 December - My sister, Dolly had just celebrated her belated 8th years old birthday at my TTDi Jaya's house. Red and white choosen by her as a theme for the birthday party as she really like and addicted with High School Musical! What a boring??!! Haha.. Kids right? We used to be liked that during our kids time. So i have to accept that. The birthday cake we make a special order for her which is High School Musical's cake and the party design by my mom's shop as she doing interior desinger, wedding planner and party planner. Hehe... Actually her birthday falls on 26th, December which is on Thursday. So we decided to celebrate her birthday on weekend on 28th December, 2008 (Sunday) as my mom work on weekdays and a lots of people couldn't come if we make the party on weekdays. Life @ Mcd Sect 3.

I studied almost every nights for my final exams at Mcdonald Section 3 from 10pm to 6am last month (November and a few days on December). I hope I could pass the exams. Mcd is like my second house during finals. hehehe... I really wish that I could proceed with ACCA without repeat any CAT papers. Redza, Zue, Azira, Asyrin, and..... of my friends were stayed up with me last time. I arrived at home around 6.20am every day and wake up at 12.00pm. Then I took my bath and breakfast and straight away go to UiTM's library until 6.30pm every weekdays. I rest until 10.00pm then i drove to Mcd. During my rest time, i had sleep for a few minutes, bathing and dinner. I don't take lunch but i took twice for my breakfast which is at 4.00am and 12.30pm. This is my life during exams.

Cameron Highland

22th December - I went to Cameron Highland with my cousins from Singapore and convoy with 3 cars! I just get close with my cousins, Syafiq and Hakim. They were 16 years old. We were not close and know well each other before. We play soccer over there and play hide and seek (p/s: i think we play seek and hide rather then hide and seek) at the hotel (still like a kids right?? :) You know what??? We are taking bath together! HAHAHA.... of course lah not naked!! Thanxx to Uncle Mimi, Uncle Olan, Tok Teh and Aunty Yati for the trip! :) We spent for 3days 2 nights there and return back to Shah Alam on Wednesday, 24th Decembet and arrived at 4.00pm. I really had fun over there. My Singaporean's cousin spent another 2 nights here. I'll bring them to Pakli Section 7 for the chill at night, watched live band @ Concorde Hotel, Shah Alam and shopping at One Utama.

APAcS and UEM

ACCA exams had just over but I as a student can't relax and tired during this holiday because I have to settle 2 things in one time which is for APAcS (Association of Professional Accounting Students) and UEM-Nurture. Our major event held for APAcS is Conference and Annual Grand Dinner which is held on 21st, March, 2009, while for UEM-Nurture, I'm busy for preparing the budget and plan to Kota Kinabalu for a team building and social responsibility for 5days 4nights. Yet I have to find sponsor for both, APAcS amd UEM-Nurture. So far we had RM30k for UEM-Nurture.
